I'm just explained why some people moan about the album. I can understand that. I'm not complaining about le live show. I've seen Noel solo during the Stop the clock tour and it was brillant. I hope the live HFB show i'm going to see will be too. But for the album I understand why people are a little frustrating on some tracks. I'm not trying to convice anyone, I'm just explaining it. Otherwise, you're trying to convice me too by asking me if Liam could have sung those songs now. So the final answer is "Yes I really think he could" and "no you really think he couldn't". And sorry but if we have to think that everything Noel does is genius and couldn't have been better because Oasis is over, well we just should close the forum then... But it's an eternal debat so I'll stop, there'll always be people who prefer blue and people who prefer green so... I see what you're saying (even if I disagree), I just take issue with your phrasing. "It's just so obvious" doesn't sound like an explanation. Yes I agree, it's just the way I speak, I don't like the IMO, prefer the Gallagher way lol.

As good as Noel is singing on this album, and he's really good, it's just will never be as good as if Liam has done it for me and a lot of people. But in the Oasis fan world, there is people who prefer Noel's voice and think Liam is useless. That's beyond me but hey." It's just so obvious that EBOTR, IIHAG or Record machine would have been instant classics if Liam had sung on it. It's just so obvious, I don't know how you manage to thinks Noel's better on those. Just the way he pushes his voice on Everybody, the way he sings the "sealinnnnggg", it doesn't remind you Liam at all? You really never picture Liam strong voice on those lines ? Never? Cause if it's the case good for you, I'm really happy with it too, but I'll always be a little frustated. And of couse Noel's album is far better than the BDI one, it bugs me how people always confuse things. Liam is obviously a better singer and Noel is obviously a better songwritter but to justify that they prefer Noel voice, Noel fanboy always attack Liam's songwritting, It's not the question is it? I never said Liam was useless. I love most of the songs he sang on in oasis, and a few in beady eye. As for Liam "obviously" being the better singer, i disagree, i think Noel got it right when he said that Liam got the better voice, but he's the better singer. This album seems to me to stretch the melodies a little compared to the usual oasis song, demanding a better singer. I think HAD it been oasis, they could have pulled a lot of magic in the studio but most songs would have been scrapped live as liam wouldnt have been able to sing them. If you want to get into Liam's songwriting.. i think he's a great songwriter, boads, songbird, morning son are amazing songs. I just think he suffer greatly from not having a lot of songs. The "bad" songs get on the album too, probably because they don't have enough songs to sort out the lesser ones and that's a shame really.

I wasn't talking about you especially, it was a general statement. I agree with what you say on Liam's songwritting.
But sorry, I'll never think Noel is the best singer. First of all, having the better voice is essential. because if it's not then you're just talking to me about technique and Oasis fan don't care about technique. I don't care that Noel isn't an amazing guitarist. I prefer the way he plays guitar because it's got soul. So Noel isn't the best singer because he's got more technique, who cares about the technique ? Then people says Liam is helped on the studio and can't reproduce it live. Well Noel can reach the highs notes on TDOYAM and Liam can't, but Noel can't reproduce it live, he always struggles live with the high notes, so he's helped by pro tools in studio too. Then people says Noel has got more emotion when he sings ? Well not sure either. But Noel is a god when he's with an accoustic guitar, I give you that.
Finally some might say Noel sings like a god ! But is he capable of singing a huge part of his repertoire ? No he can't ! When he does supersonic he's doing in accoustic because otherwhise he would look ridiculous compare to Liam rock voice and he knows it. His voice is great on the "Dream on"' s verse but when he pushes it too much on the chorus, I really hate it.
So, Noel has a little more technique but who cares? a less good voice and can't sing most of the great rock songs he wrote, whereas Liam has the best voice in rock n roll (and it's still very good) and he's as brillant on mid tempo song, ballad and rock song. Therefore Liam is the better singer (imo ;D)

Therefore Liam is the better singer (imo ;D) I dont think Noel has a bad voice, Liam's is just better. I have to say that i think technique matters. It would be quite boring if you had an amazing voice and really sang soulfully if you could only sing one note. Noel obviously has a wider range than Liam, but my claim here is, that Liam because of his lack of technique has a lesser range and can't sing many songs for this reason. I believe that some might say was dropped from the live set for this reason (might be wrong). Beady eye knows this, and if you listen to the album it's painfully clear, that the melodies all more or less stay within the same 4-5 notes. I like Noel's melodies better because they are not restrained to that, and yes the chorus on dream on is not perfect live but it's still a great song.
