Wasn't Amy Winehouse supposed to record it originally? This theme is having bad luck haha

Can't see them using a song with the title Freaky Teeth.

I wonder if Noel's relationship with Daniel Craig will have any pull on the matter, i think they are friends, so come on Daniel sort it out, it would be awesome

They'd never let Noel do it; he's not international enough.
I don't know why everyone is speculating about this anyway; just cos he said years ago that it sounded like a Bond song?

Noel has said on numerous occasions he wants to create the bond theme tune... even said it on stage at the roundhouse when Daniel Craig was there.
Will wait and see.

And Freaky Teeth sounds very fitting. Well...maybe not the title itself, but the song

The new film is about Mr Bond trying to work out if M betrayed or if he trusts her or something along those lines... Freaky Teeth lyrics would fit that perfecty, Noel doing the theme to a DC bond filmnis too good to be true though innit

Keep in mind it hasn't been released yet, so in theory he could tweak the title to fit the theme of the film.

Hope so. Last Shadow Puppets would be my second preference but a new album doesn't look likely with Miles' new solo album due in 2012 and Alex taking a break after touring.

It's staring the film producer's in the face! Noel is more of an icon and recognised much more than Chris Cornell and he seems the perfect choice for it.

maybe you already know this but for each film, they ask several artists to record a theme, then pick the one they want. So adele probably recorded a demo of it or something, maybe noel did too.

Aye that's true - Queen did a tune for The Living Daylights but it was given to a-ha instead. I love a-ha and I love that tune but it's nowhere anywhere near the best of Bond tunes. Spy Who Loved Me is class, but my favourite has to be Live And Let Die.

This could be hugely exciting, but "we've been considering several people but we haven't got anyone to announce at this stage" is hardly denying that Adele has been involved.

He actually said in an old interview (in 2009 I think) that he tried to write a bond-like tune, and that FT was the result.

Film is a directors medium and when you get to a franchise like that there are also producers to deal with. Besides I don't think they are actually friends Daniel is a fan though. I'd be nice...but not gonna happen. They'll probably go with something hip-hop in an attempt to be hip and current. lol.

a hip hop James Bond theme that sounds ridiculous, I think Coldplay has more chance getting digs at the theme song than a hip hop act
