So i just watched if i had a gun after reading this. it was a lil rough. that drummer seems stiff on certain songs and this is one of them. he's bashing hard but could benefit from a lil finesse.
also i think noel really needs to raise his microphone. ive never seen anyone look so strained trying to lean down into a mic that is too low. i know its been mentioned but no clue why he started to do this and why he thinks it looks cool?
otherwise im going to listen around i need to hear some better performances to feel more positive about noel's current live sound etc. i think he is strained a bit doing what 8 times the amount of singing per night?

Watch some of the later songs in the set. He sounds fine after the 4th or 5th song.
He started his leaning down thing because it doesn't hurt his back.

I was watching it alone and some others walked in the room and the first thing they said was that the vocals were shocking and asked who the lead singer was. This was at record machine, which is where the red button repeat starts from.

Just watched If I Had A Gun. Wow. Noel is on top form with that one, finally! Impressive stuff.

Yes, it's the exact contrary of Liam's position to the mic. Betweem them two, not one of them has a normal singing position, but Noel should really stop and raise his mic.

The biggest positive I'm seeing is that the best of the new songs are standing up in crowd response against his best older songs. I'm quite happy that it's not an Arctic Monkeys type show where everyone goes nuts over their older songs and then stands around scratching their chins while the new ones are played.
