The time for reconciliation might be a way off. Gallagher the elder is not only busy with touring High Flying Birds - he is strongly tipped to be announced for next year's Big Day Out - but has been finishing off the second album he has recorded with the British act Amorphous Androgynous. He plans to release it about June next year. ''We've just gone back and tweaked a couple of mixes,'' he says. ''Other than that it's completely recorded and completely done. If my music in the High Flying Birds has slightly psychedelic tinges to it, then on this next album it's been exaggerated by the times of 20.''
Sorry if already posted, couldnt see anything

You know... June, give or take a month or two Here's a source: Hope that timescale doesn't slip... right in time for festival season! However, that interview is from the time he was filming the What a Life video... and I'm sure he's said it could slip since then.

he originally said he wanted it out for the festivals. He has since then said it would depend on the how well HFB's performs. I would guess at the moment album and tour sales are on the better side of things so this could easily slip past june

I have the feeling it will end up like a psychedellic rock commercial album. In fact, Freaky Teeth sounds brilliant, and not that strange at all. I see If i had a gun and Record Machine as the next singles from his first album, then Freaky Teeth in April - May, and the AA album number one again in the charts.

In fact, Freaky Teeth sounds brilliant, and not that strange at all. Is it supposed to be on the AA album? If so, surely the version he's playing now isn't the one from the AA album!

I don't think the AA album will be TOO far out, it will be different for sure but still commercial knowing Noel.
He has a habit for hyping things up for them to then sound different to what he said, take WAL for example, didn't he say it was a disco song that Madonna could sing on?
All in all i think it will be a good thing if it is commercial and psychedellic.
