I have got tickets for block 110 and I have the intention of taking my 2 eldest boys - aged 7 & 5.
Could anybody who went to the Dublin gig (or anybody with advice) please give me their honest opinion as to wether they think this is wise or misguided? I figured that Noel's gig would be a lot more suited for younger fans in comparison with Oasis gigs and the perfect way to ease them into gigs etc.
The tickets are obviously seated. They are already massive Noel fans. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I went to an outdoor Rory Gallagher concert when I was 2 years old in a buggy, they'll be fine

I'm not quite sure what your worried about. Why wouldn't an oasis gig be suited? Does it really matter once its seated?

I was more worried about the noise/volume factor. But thanks for the advice. One more possibly annoying question....... Is there an age restriction for gigs? I read somewhere that children under 13 have to be accompanied by an adult.

Ah right. I dunno about the age restriction thing but I don't think it was as noisy as oasis were, even for the heavy songs and I was down the front at the olympia. I kinda notice it when I can make out the songs on the videos I recorded on my phone whereas with oasis it was all just bassy noise. Same phone too.

I'd say kids in the seating area at a Noel gig should be fine. If they're hardened Milwall fans they're probably ready for the mosh pit!

Very funny, the 5 year old is now a big time Man Utd fan, what that's says about Millwall I don't know. I want to nip it in the bud but I thought that would be unfair (at least his team will win silverware). All comments have been very helpful and greatly appreciated, cheers guys. K+

Should be fine at The O2 safety wise, especially seated. Maybe they're a bit too young, so it might be wise to take earplugs if you're worried about ear damage from the noise.
