"It did leave me with a bit of food for thought regarding the set list. All good though." Taken from tales from the middle of nowhere.
So, english isnt my first language, and i might be missing some subtleties here, but isn't this slightly negative?
I doubt very much that he would drop any hfb songs, so any ideas what it is supposed to mean? I take it, that it's likely that he will change the setlist every now and then, but probably just the oasis songs.

Hopefully, he'll ice Mucky Fingers. Shit tune. That would be my only major complaint.
I'd also go with a more rocking opener. Have nothing against IGTBF-think its a good song, but I would open with SOTWB. Such a wicked tune, and the only one on the album with a hint of the old Oasis menace. Or EOTR would work too, in a different way.

Well, I can't see him playing Mucky Finger, TGR and LBL throughout the whole tour.

Well, I can't see him playing Mucky Finger, TGR and LBL throughout the whole tour. I partially agree, although i hope he plays lbl in denmark. But any ideas as to what he means? Does he think the audience didnt respond well, it lacked flow, etc? Did anyone who was there notice anything?

Goodbye supersonic... the audience took away the delivery he meant for it to be heard in

I would imagine he meant the running order. He played the album in order (just punctuated with different songs) so I imagine he'll just start to shuffle the songs. Can't really see him dropping many.

He needs to get rid of freeky teeth. It killed the crowd he had by the balls.

I reckon Freeky Teeth will only end up being done that night - once and only time. I also think Mucky Fingers and maybe one of the other Oasis songs (dunno which) and a couple of others will replace them

I'm sorry folks but if I'm paying my hard earned money, I don't wanna hear a "new song" and HFB's Bsides. I wanna hear the album tracks and oasis tunes. I say drop "freaky teeth", the good rebel, and put in "stay young" and "listen up" or really fuck everyone up and play "Underneath the Sky"

You DON'T want to hear new songs?

God forbid he play HFB songs at an HFB gig
The Good Rebel will stay. The pace of it is needed

No matter what they are and how great they go on to be completely new songs at a gig are shite and kill the buzz.

I remember someone saying he wasn't going to play Stop The Clocks, but never hear why?

Agreed! A song nobody has heard is a waste of space at a noel gig. And I said to play the Album but not the albums b-sides. Fuck them. I'd rather have those spots filled with oasis tunes or a cover.

It isn't necessarily negative. I read it to mean that he was surprised at the reaction of the HFB songs, which could be taken either positively or negatively.

Nothing wrong with Noel using 'his' Oasis songs on the set, just like there's nothing wrong with Beady Eye using 'theirs'. But come on Noel, Wonderwall? Little By sodding Little? Supersonic? Use the opportunity to delve into the arsenal of long forgotten b-sides, dust off Take Me Away, Spaceman, Idler's Dream etc.
...And he should make sure the big highlights are from the solo canon; don't open and close with Oasis tracks. Open with EOTR, and end with a massive stretched out jam of What a Life. Job's a good 'un.

Little by Little was on of the best received songs in Dublin the other night. It'll definitely stick.

I for one don't mind freaky teeth. Guess you could call it a treat for those going to the shows.
When hung in a bad place and hindu times were played for the 10 years of noise and confusion tour in 2001 it was great, and those moments you remember.
I like this setlist, but should it change, i'd love for something truly surprising to come in, like flashbax or hey now. (wouldn't mind step out either)

Take Me Away was played at the first ever oasis arena gig
Not that I disagree, but I felt it worth mentioning

I've never expeced that he would play 9 Oasis songs. Of course those songs are written by him, so they're his songs as well, but to me they'll always remain as Oasis songs. I prefer that he doesn't play songs like Wonderwall and DLBIA every gig. I'm really loving his album and B-sides, so I'll be more than happy if he completes his gig by playing only his new solo stuff when I see him next month.

He should start with EOTR and finnish with ASGOG.
And replace Wonderwall with Angel child or going nowhere.

He's not going to replace Wonderwall when it goes down so well at a gig.
