Okay, here's my best guess.... As the lyrics become more accurate from guesses, I'll edit this post so that everyone can find it easy... think it's 'for your heart' not certain tho - also sounds more like 'bones' than 'girls' - tho that wouldn't make much sense in this context
also sounds more like 'devil' than 'god' - hope that's not just my evil mind twisting things lmao!

Cleaner version here:- sounds like he says the lines at the start Coming down, on the darkest and mean edge of town They came to see lightning in the sky Then later it sounds like:- Its hard when your wife rips your heart out with a knife and they left you to the dogs to lick your bones They made you feel the pain but they love you just the same Til the god and the devil took soul......... as for the rest of it?  ? Im going Saturday iPhone 4S in hand so hopefully we'll have another version to listen to |

It's very difficult to make out.
In the first verse I hear "..They came to steal the lightning from the sky"
And in the second verse I hear something about cutting a heart out with a knife?

I've made some changes to mine, based on the recording from the Hammersmith gig last night. I've highlighted the bits I'm sure on in italics. Think I've got most of them now though.
