If you got to pick an ultimate Stone Roses setlist for the shows next year, what would it look like? Would anyone include anything from John Squire or Ian Browns material away from the Roses?
Mine:
Intro Breaking Into Heaven Driving South I Wanna Be Adored Elephant Stone "New Song" She Bangs The Drums Waterfall Ten Story Love Song Bye Bye Badman Mersey Paradise "New Song"
Elizabeth My Dear (Acoustic Set) Your Star Will Shine (Acoustic Set) "New Song" (Acoustic Set) Tightrope (Acoustic Set)
This Is The One Standing Here I Am The Resurrection
ENCORE:
Love Spreads "New Song" Fools Gold

It'd be epic if they played This Is the One. They haven't played it since 1988.

I really want them to play Where Angels Play. Such a massive tune and Ian already played it live a couple of times, I think. I would also add Sugar Spun Sister to that setlist. Otherwise it sure looks great

It would be cool if they opened their set with 'I Am The Resurrection'. I know it won't happen, probably 'I Wanna Be Adored' will take that honor.

I don't care as long as they end the regular set with Fools Gold and the encore with I Am The Resurrection. Opening with I Wanna Be Adored would be great, and they must play Sally Cinammon.

Standing Here is one of the greatest love songs ever written. If they played this tune I would leave their gigs a very happy guy.

No way will they finish the set with Fools Gold. It has to be I Am The Resurrection. And you forgot Shoot You Down.

The worst idea of the year... They all look like oldmen with a fake cool attitude (This period is outwhere)...

They will open with I Wanna Be Adored and close with I Am The Ressurection.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a setlist similar to the 'Greatest Hits' collection (the second one).
Fuck, as long as they play Love Spreads...

They definitely have to open with I Wanna Be Adored and finish the encore with I Am The Resurrection, the rest is anyone's guess. Would hope for at least 25 songs though, for that kind of money
