News announced so far: So it's official: there will be two shows at Manchester's Heaton Park on June 29th and 30th, followed by a world tour. And the best bit? The Stone Roses will be playing NEW SONGS! Ian Brown on the possibility of a new album: "We hope so. But we said that before didn't we?" So the question is: why now? After so many years of refusal? Ian Brown: "We've had offers to do it two, three times a year.

AWESOME! The Roses are the only band I like as much as Oasis, maybe even a bit more..."world tour" sounds good! Really hoping for a gig anywhere in Germany.

All good. Only concern is that by 10 am on Friday there will be £3000 tickets on ebay It's gonna be slightly ruined by touts  I'd love to go but ain't holding my breath |

Nothing what-so-ever, I just thought with The Roses reforming and then announcing 2 massive gigs, the gigs deserved their own thread.

Didn't manage AT ALL to get any tickets for the normal dates, I managed to get to the ordering page about 3 times but then the website would crash again. At 10:10 am finally managed for the added date.
