there will be some scramble - only about 10,000 for 5 gigs,so i'd say all gigs will be sold out on advance sales in about 10mins before they are even released to the public.
need to get yourself on a advance ticket mailing list

Ive always thought of the Usher Hall being more for classical stuff, comedians etc. Didnt think they really put many rock bands on. That Idlewild gig will be good. Saw them at T a couple of years ago. Bloody excellent.

2500 I believe.
Yeah it's not gonna be easy.
What's annoying is that it was easier to get tickets for Hamden, but harder to get there and it's gonna be a nightmare for the Usher, when I could get there in 15 minutes.

Will probably have to stay the night in Glasgow for the Hampden gig which doesnt exactly fill me with joy ;D

Aye true enough, I've not thought what I'm doing yet. I'm guessing they'll run buses though, so I'll see what happens.
Not run buses for big events from Dundee normally too (eg. T In The Park)?

Yeah theres always buses to T, not sure if there is any for the Hampden gig though. If there is, I'll try and jump on one of them, if not, its looks like a B&B job.

At least you're getting to see Oasis but it's a shame to miss out on the campsite banter.
There's loads of good bands playing, but it seems that most are gonna be on at the same time.

Thats always the same with festivals though - who do you go and see. Doesnt matter whos playing at T though, its always brilliant 2 days. And yeah, you cant beat the 'banter' in the T campsite ;D

Who would you chose Travis or Ian Brown?
We met someone called 'Peter the Heater' last year, he told us he was called that about 15 times and did a Bez like dance every time he said 'Peter the Heater', it was a laugh.

Some of the people you see just wandering around who have no idea where they even are coz they are so out of their heads. lol It would have to be Ian. The guys a legend. I think I will but mainly because I'd prefer seeing Interpol (who are on after Ian in King Tuts) to Green Day, but that means missing Kasabian and The Prodigy I wish I liked less music. I reckon I'd probably pay to go for the weekend even if there were no bands on, just for the campsite.

Man that will be a fucking great atmosphere in there for that, you might not get in if your not in there 2 or 3 bands before him mate. I remember a couple years ago, seeing these guys turn up to the campsite in a Ford Transit van and they had a settee tied to the roof and three of them were sitting on the settee drinking a carry-out. Hillarious ;D
