So, I listen to this song right, and every single time this is what goes through my head:
Aww, cute little kids. Hey, shut up, the songs starting! Little familiar. Nice little intro Noel, does the owner know you took it? Ah well, it sounds better here, it's what you do isn't it. Hm, not really doing much. Hehe, this is where they would start sin - shit. The exact words? Noel you fucktard, you steal either the music, or the words, but not bo OhMyGod how did you make a caree Wait shit
Gotit.
Heh.
Good Song. I like it.

Why do people drink alcohol whilst surfing the internet? It concerns me. Don't people have friends in real life?

Every single person who replied here had over 500 posts, and didn't manage to type more than 20 words (10 if you exclude LIAM).
Congratulations guys, you are our future.

-164 karma? how did you managed to get so much positive karma? If he stops making Milwaukee jokes, I will keep helping him get back to 0. While we're on the topic, last night's Record Machine was way stronger than the first night. Noel really belted it out, and it sounded awesome.

"IT'S LIKE LED ZEPPELIN DOING THE BEATLES...."If only that were fucking true! Yesterday... She's buying a stairway to heaven Drum solo. I think Black Keys' Little Black Submarines fit that bill better than this great demo so-so song.

Never understood why people love to shit on this song. Sure, Noel definitely overhyped it, but then again, he also overhyped Chasing Yesterday by saying that it was a bold move into something completely different (which was true...sorta). I guess I'm just one of those lucky few who wasn't an Oasis fan back then and heard the song for the first time without any Noel exaggerations racing through my brain while listening to it!
P.S. the guitar solo is way too fucking soft. Wtf Sardy???

I liked it at the beginning, but that soon was over. Wouldn't skip it if I'd be listening to the full album, but never really listen to it just like a song on itself either. To me it sounds a bit boring and cheesy, both in sound and lyrics. It's a bit blah.

I still like it, but I used to love it when the album came out. The ending part when it soars during "You can't give me a reason... etc" is really good imho.
It definitely has some problems with production and a couple of lazy lyrics though... it could have been MUCH better.
A bit of a wasted opportunity.

liked the demo and really hoped for a great of the dig out your soul version, that may never see the light of the day. but the NGHFB version sucks ass. Soft, plodding, too poppy, overproduced with that fucking choir and strings.... As it wants to be epic but it really isn`t altough there is that much bling bling on it.

I like both versions. Yes, the album one is a little overproduced, but the middle 8 of that song is above any complaints you might have about the songs - one of Noel's perfect little moments (the breaks on HFB1 were mostly class - see EOTR, TDOYAM or Broken Arrow).

He's sorta said that about the current LP he's recording.

Isn't even recording a new album kind a like a bold move for a gallagher?

He MIGHT have said CY was a bit different from HFB, a step into a different direction or something along those lines, but nothing about a bold move.
