I was listening to one of the long versions of when Setting Sun was played live and I can't quite make out the lyrics to the second verse.

This is what I think I'm hearing:

I see animals at last now the summer starts to fall
I hear happiness abound as she staggered down my hall
Part of my heart has been and gone
She said she'll return and it won't be long
She's part of a life I've never had
She told me 'man, it's just too bad'

Does anybody get anything different for these?

After reading both and listening again I think we both have parts right. I think now that it might be this:

Been an Oasis Fan since 94 and literally everybody is wrong on this. its crazy!! I was on the whatever list and was the 1st DJ to play standing on the shoulders of giants in its entirety including "it's a crime" in some shows he forgets words..he was on a bunch of cocaine give him a break..sounded great to him surely. lol

This is definitive: your done searching or repeating the damn 1st verse 3 times. Drop D on your guitar. put on some 13's it gives you the sound you want. with proper grammar.
