Hey so my friend is interning in marketing in a stuido in london. claims some one who works there says noel was in there in recently rehearsing. and has "proposed" set list which has the following on. . appernlty he is gonna bring it in on monday to show my friend. i told him to snap a pic and send it. but this is apperntly it. i 100% believe my friend was told this info. but im not so sure on the source. but anyhow this is what i was told. apperntly acoustic is everything they rehearsed. seems like way too many tracks to be real again take this for what its worth. just passing it on.

Fake. He won't be playing The Turning or Falling Down, he will only be playing familiar Oasis tracks.
The whole point of playing Oasis songs is to spice the setlist with songs people know.
And he has no reason to do two covers.

Fake, 100% sure.
Noel said that he is planning 6-7 Oasis tracks. There are 12 listed here. He has said that he will only be playing one that Liam is know for, there are way more here.
But most damning is the fact that has already said he is going to be playing TGR which isn't listed here.

He could potentially be rehearsing far more than 6 - 7 and then cycle songs in and out during the tour. This, I see, as a list of songs they were rehearsing, not so much a set list. Also, it was Noel who soundchecked The Turning during the DOYS tour. As much as he said he'd play Oasis tracks, he never said anything about going straight for the crowd pleasers. i wouldn't be surprised if he plays Gas Panic either. I'm crossing my fingers he finally realized just how terrible TGR is and removed it from the setlist. Won't call it fake, but it definitely has promise. |

You can't entertain the possibility if you like. I am positive it's fake personally though.
This is set out like a proper set list including notes to say when he is gonna sit down for an acoustic bit in the show.
Except the fact that STC is not to be played there is zero continuity with Noel's comments thus far.

again,for the record. im like 99.9999 % sure its fake. my friend i have known for years whos a big oasis fan but not on the level of most of us here, would not txt me out of the blue to make this up. again the source though is just some guy he ran into in his building where he is interning. the dude said he was gonna bring it into my friend on monday. if he does. my friend will def snap a pic im 100% sure of it.

tbf, i'm sure they would rehearse more songs than would actually make the set. just sayin This could feasibly be a set list for rehearsals. Sounds daft but they must exist. Noel always blamed oasis' rigid setlist (and they really did have the most rigid set lists) on Liam not willing to sound check / not remembering the words etc. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Noel's gig varied from venue to venue (like weller's does for example) probably just a bullshit setlist but ... |

I thought Noel said on the XFM radio interview that he'd be playing Oasis bsides and connoiseur's choices. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but wasn't that the case?

Obviously i mean rotating oasis / a cover song around. He will obviously stick the the core HFB songs as thats the album he's promoting, but there 14 none HFB songs on that list. he could quite easily choose a random 6-8 oasis songs per gig (+maybe 1 cover).. but like you say he's lazy so probably won't |
