Might be a little long and gets a bit repetitive at the end, but I love it anyway.
Great song.

I'm really starting to like this one. The verses are just so catchy! And I love the "bitch keeps bitchen" part.

I like the verses a lot, its like someone else said a poppy version of gas panic or the turning. But the chorus seems a bit throw-away, the sort of thing Noel can write in his sleep...and it goes on forever, which kind of spoils it.

Anyone else notice that when XFM Radio played this song they edited it to say, "The itch keeps itching...?" Just thought that was funny.
But yeah, it's an alright song. I don't see how Noel thinks it's "extremely" catchy. It's catchy, but in the sense of people singing it like, "DREAM ON! WOOooo... Something yeah whatever? Shout it out for me!..." Y'know, just some parts are really catchy.

Anyone think this sounds a lot like My Sister Lover?

Anyone think this sounds a lot like My Sister Lover? Yes i thought that on first listen. I think it's only because of the guitar part on the verses in the beginning..

Great song but carries on for a bit too long near the end. If it was 40 seconds shorter I would enjoy it more.

I got the Sister Lover comparison first time I heard it aswell.. it starts on "Oh me, oh my" which is the chorus out of "The Wrong Beach". Also when I read the lyrics different lines in the verses like.. "I'm running out of batteries" "But shit don't matter at all, taking the shots as I fall, watchin' the wheels go round and round" "One day at a time, I'm hiding from the razor blade"
Chorus: "Dream on, was that songbird singing"
When I seen the "songbird" bit coupled with the other lyrics it made me think it's a reference to Liam

A bit My Sister Lover-ish, though am loving this tune. Best for me on the album. The na-na-na bit is tops.

I think you got negative karma for being a bit of a bellend
But yeah, a grower for sure. Didn't like it much at first, but it grew.

At this point why are you even bothering paying attention to your karma?
And I like it. It's catchy. It'll never be one of my favorites...but I won't skip past it. But then I don't think I'll end up skipping any.

It's fine for what it is. The ending drags - I thought Noel learned from IGBM, I guess not.
I do hate that "song bird" line, though. Cringe.
Catchy enough tune, though.

I literally listened to My Sister Lover for the 1st time in months the other day so it was fresh in my head, so when I heard Dream On this morning it was like "hang on, I didn't listen o the leak, why is this familiar"
Glad to see I'm nit the only one who thought that

It's great. I think one of the biggest things missing from later Oasis songs was Noel's silly songs, aka MWC and She's Electric. It all got a bit too serious. But this brings it back, with the "Oh me, oh my" line and the "La la la"s. It's just deliriously stupid, and I love it.

We haven't had a fun silly song like this since BHN.

Not into it. Would have put The Good Rebel in its place.

I think the part that really turns me off is the "Shout it out for me!" line. It just doesn't sound good at all to me.
I think the chorus would've worked better like this...
Em C Dream on Em Ooooo... Was thatttt C Songbird singing? Em Can IIII C Hear you say it? Em C Dream on Em Ooooo... Was thatttt C Songbird singing? Em Can IIII C Hear you say it G B7 To meeeeeee?
