How did you possibly manage to get tickets? Know of any spares? I'm travelling up from Cork with no ticket, hoping for the best I just turned up at my local Ticketmaster outlet at 8:45. When it was 9, he started to print out as many as he could before they sold out...he got 4. Luckily I was 2nd in the queue so I got 2 Hopefully you'll get one on the day for a reasonable price anyway!!! |

I'll be there. I got 2 tickets on the day and 2 other friends forked out 500 quid for theirs. Can't wait! I reckon we'll have to start queuing ridiculously early for pit bands. Any of ye thinkin of doing that?

I'll be there. I got 2 tickets on the day and 2 other friends forked out 500 quid for theirs. Can't wait! I reckon we'll have to start queuing ridiculously early for pit bands. Any of ye thinkin of doing that? I was thinking of queueing at half 6, would that be early enough for the pit do you think? I remember for Beady Eye, I started queueing at 6:45 for the doors to open at 7:30, and I got in the pit |

Yeah maybe slightly earlier for this one though since I think the demand for pitbands will be higher. From what I remember the pit is quite small too. |

For those that have been there how much people would you estimate the pit would hold? I might be queuing pretty early to I could text those who are interested and keep them up to date on the queue situation if they wanna try for pit bands.

I'd say 100 /150 people would be a lot to be honest. It's only about 4 rows deep and you get about 30/40 in a row. I was just behind the pit for the Beady Eye gig there and there's absolutely no differnence. I certainly wouldn't put yourself out and go queuing in the rain when you could be at the bar like me! |

Well the Olympia is right close to the centre so you are surrounded by pubs. I'm sure someone on here will know more but maybe ask around for McDaids or Sinnots which are both fairly close, both class pubs. Or else use my tactic of looking for the dodgiest looking pubs, which as everyone knows are always the best craic! |

I pass the Olympia twice every day to and from college, I'm staying just beside Christchurch, so I'll have a look around tomorrow if I have time I'll try and be up here early enough on Sunday anyway, it takes me 5 mins to walk to the Olympia so I'll be able to see how the queue situation is! |
