Everyone is gonna hate me for this thread but here it goes. I couldn't help but feel Stranded on the Wrong Beach references the split from Oasis. The theme of the song is leaving but finding out the grass isn't greener on the other side (Solo Effort vs Oasis). Am I alone in this theory? Discuss!

It´s a good theory, I think Noel hardly will expose his feelings and thoughts on something so serious like the oasis split, it´s not his style. But maybe, the lyrics were written subconciously...

If anything, I think it's a coincidence. Noel always writes about leaving somewhere for a better place. It's the most consistent basis for his lyrical output, and has been since the early days of DM.
