It's had no publicity in Australia but I'm amazed to see it at No 13 in the ITunes album chart!
No wonder it's a colossal album.
Love it to bits but it took a few listens but seriously impressed. Why are people not liking Stranded on a Beach?? The bonus A Simple Game Of Genius also up there.
Definely worth waiting for.

I think plenty of people like SOTWB, its one of my personal favorites.
I see it at No 15, which is still pretty impressive with little to none promotion.

It's not even featured in iTunes as a new release!!
Love ASGOG, amazing album.
It's like listening to early oasis albums and b sides. Quality oozes through . The other guys songs just didn't cut it and the albums 4 onwards suffered..

It's now at 14 ( bonus track edition) the straight album is at 36 so sales are split.

I don't listen to Australian radio so I don't know if the actual album is getting any airplay. Let's face it - unless it's Kylie or some "Idol" TV show contestant the mainstream Australian media aren't that interested in music. Every time Oasis played here in Australia they literally sold out in minutes but the Aussie press kept writing them off as "has beens". |

I remember one interview he did in Oz.
I believe he was billed as the guy from Oasis and his solo album wasn't even mentioned. He came on as a favor for some DJ's b-day

Just had a look now and its at 12, yesterday it was in the mid 20's. I guess sales have shot up because its finally listed under newly released albums.
