Its undeniable that this one of the worst posts I've ever seen. And that includes the posts in all 140 Leak Lounge pages. And all of beadyeyeofficial's posts.
Yes, Noel just doesn't have a clue anymore. He's fucking hopeless.

No, disagree I love it. I think the sound checks and all those covers on YouTube were great as they kept people going but they became the standard. Its like say when you read a book and they make a film. Many people go oh no, that's not eg Harry Potter (. Never have gotten into HP..) he shouldn't look like Daniel Radcliffe...I can't get over how good this album is.listening as I type " I wanna live in. dreeam in my record machineee"

Fuck the soundcheck, I'm sick and tired of people on here talking about how much better they think an acoustic version of Noel ON HIS FUCKING OWN WITH A GUITAR that we were never meant to hear, recorded with a fucking Mobile Phone or something, is better than the proper finished studio version with multi instruments and professional production. I don't get it.
The finished version is brilliant, not "fucked up" in any way. One of the best Noel songs for a long time.

I agree with TheDon. The album version actually seems more unfinished than the soundcheck. And to make it worse, they gave it that americanized production, calculated to fit the taste of Amercians. This song had so much potential but I really feel they fucked it up. P.S. Forgive me for having expectations for Noels output and not accepting everything he throws at me

It's up to Noel how he does things, but I'm not a big fan of the overall sound of the song either. Still a really good song, but not anywhere close to my favorite. I refuse to be an armchair producer though. Think it's ridiculous how many people are acting like they could record the song better and really don't like the people altering the songs already. Society is crumbling.

I love the sound of the recording, and I've liked the acoustic versions he's played live since the single came out.
It took me a minute to remember that the soundcheck version was under 2 mins long, with almost none of the same lyrics as the final version. Once I realized that the soundcheck was neat to tide me over until the official recording (but nothing more), I found that I liked the album version much better.

I must say, I hate the one-note bending solo throughout the 2nd half. It doesn't sound terrible, it just bothers me that someone thought it necessary to include. Other than that, no complaints though.

i don't like how slow he sings "my eyes will only" on the album version; that part of the melody it sounded better on the soundcheck version in my opinion.
it's my opinion and, to paraphrase dr dre, "if you don't like it, blow me".

The 'ahh' bits, why did he change that? In the soundcheck he sings 'ahh ahh ah ahh ah ahh, ahh ahh ah ahh' but in the studio version he just repeats the same phrase twice instead. I completely agree on that. That part would've sounded a lot better than what we have now with the album version. Basically, the structure of the song in the soundcheck is far more interesting. I love how it ends with the "ahhs," instead of the one now where it's just him repeating the first verse. I just think we've all been spoiled by hearing this song for so long. I like it, but the soundcheck has ruined the idea of it because we ALL know it could've of been just a little bit better.
