Noel recently in an interview stated a lot of the new album is filled with hope. Currently im sitting in the Baltimore County court house awaiting medeation in hopes of resoloution concerning custody of my one year old daughter. I had an hour drive and currently anxiety is setting in. I 'm thankful to Noel and everyone in this forum because during my hour drive here, i of course was listening to the Chiefs new album. Not only did Noel offer me hope and strength via this album for today so did all the members of this community. All the hard work everyone put into searching for this album and communicating has at least provided me some peace on this stressful day. I thank Noel, Webby and everyone here for this. Keep me in your thoughts today. Help me get back what they've taken from me, shine light to places where there can't be, put a little fire where it is cold.
Ill let everyone know how things work out afterwards. One thing i do know is that is things do not go well, at least i'll have Noel's music to listen to and fall back on during the drive home thanks to Noel, Webby and this community.

My cousin got custody of his 1 year old daughter so it can happen. His wife was a crazy asshole though.

I know what you're going through pal. I only have access to my two children, two days a week, which is never ever enough as I love them both so very very much and I miss dearly, not seeing them every day.
Hope all goes well for you my friend, and remember, if it doesn't, she will always be your daughter and you will ALWAYS be her Dad. No one can EVER take that away from you. All the best pal.

I do have kids. I just don't see them. Their moms hate me. So I don't mind seeing them. One is a half-Philipino kid, so she can take care of herself. You don't have kids. You ARE a kid, no older than 14. Can we PLEASE get rid of this fucking idiot? Someone grow some god damn balls around here. To the OP, I hope it works out for you. I haven't had kids yet, but I can only imagine how heartbreaking your situation is. Don't know what your ex is like, but if she's even remotely normal, chances are they'll give her full custody. Nice to see a dad who seems to really care tho. Those are hard to find these days and its one of the main reasons doofs like youandmegirl exist. |

Best of luck to you, definitely. This album was announced a few days before my Dad passed away, and I have been lacking a lot of hope myself. This album has been the only thing I've had to look forward to.

Why was this playpenned?! It was me who's playpenned this thread yesterday afternoon. I'm so sorry for my stupidness jedimasterg and everyone on this forum. I should have read jedimasterg post carefully first. I was blinded all those comments by youandmegirl and others feeding that troll. Number one Thank You Eva i believe it was for awesome moderating. I do not think i have seen many threads come back from the other side of the playpen!!!! Second Thank You to everyone in this community who replied. Strong community united by music.
I apologize it being a while since i posted this and i'am finally just now getting around to responding. Guess i've got a little of the Chief in me. The Importance of Being Idol, right?
To make a long story short mediation did not go well. 5 hours of plum throwing in my direction with me grinning a bearing with no outcome. November 8th i will be going to court and can only hope for the best. It's funny how money controls people lives. I hope for my daughters sake and my own that there is a fair resolution. I can only hope.
In the mean time once again due to everyone's hard work in this forum i have been able to listen to some fabulous music to calm my nerves. Had my first listen to Freaky teeth last night and can not wait for the AA album!!!
One thing for sure though, on November 8th i will be walking into the court room against all odds hoping for the best. No matter what happens as always in life Oasis, Noel as well as this community will be here to pick me back up if things do not go well. November 11th i will be attending the gig in Philly so i can take comfort in that despite how many bad emotions are trapped inside of me post court, i will have a moment of relief while watching Noel in Philadelphia.
I'm glad people thought this thread was important. Not only was in an out lite for myself but a good point that is a message in many of Noel's songs. One of hope. To me in this dark time of my life, it is was awesome that this community helped deliver this album by Noel, giving me hope in a time of need. Many may say this is melodramatic but to me it defines why this album is so great. Not only is it amazing in it's own but something that picks me up when i get upset, down and depressed. This album is full of hope.

K+ to rifles too for his shocking karma, i don't understand it, seems like a good guy to me... Ignore Rifle's karma. If I remember correctly he was attacked by a Karma troll earlier this year because they couldn't bear the fact that he didn't agree with them and wasn't afraid to speak out against them. I think it was lgfaver or J.B. or someone like that. Doesn't matter really. |
