How would change it ? I don't really like If i had a gun there. The four first tracks works pretty well like this
Everybody's On The Run Dream On The Death Of You And Me (I Wanna Live In A Dream In My) Record Machine AKA... What A Life! Soldier Boys And Jesus Freaks AKA... Broken Arrow If I Had A Gun... (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach A Simple Game Of Genius Stop The Clocks

I don't agree with splitting up BA and SOTWB. I think that stretch SBAJF, BA, SOTWB flows really well.
I actually really like the official sequencing.

Yeah it's quite good but after a while i feel like those three songs are kinda similar. That's why i needed to break it with a slower poppier song.

I do too...I actually kind of feel like RM doesn't really fit on the album, though. It's the only song that I can't discern the purpose of, in the context of the record. Anyone have any ideas on that?

I like the official sequencing as well but I reckon RM would fit in well between SOTWB and STC it would definitely make the album split into two distinct sides

What A Life! (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach The Death Of You And Me .......If you play the album backwards and in this order, there's a secret message from Noel..........

I'd keep it to how Noel wants us to hear it, I like to stay away from that Kaiser Cheifs nonsense.

I agree...I think that particular choice would make a lot more sense if I'd heard this record for the first time on vinyl, actually. If you end side one with RM, it makes WAL look that much more dark and ominous in comparison to kick off side two.

All the time, on every single record, what's wrong with that ? i cant help it and i know many people that are the same. It's not a crime is it ?

My track listing's the one that the artist decides. I save track listing decisions for when it's my music.
And I like where Record Machine is. It makes perfect sense as a closer to side one.
