Broken Arrow - the intro sounds identical to a Travis song, the one that goes "everyday I wake up and it's Sunday", anyone know what the name of it is? Can't remember, but sounds identical.
Soldier boys and Jesus freaks - the first note, the solitary one on it's own before the song properly starts, everytime I hear it I except to hear a Muse song but I can't for the life of me remember what is, doing my head in. Can anyone enlighten me?
Not very interesting I know, it's just annoying me and wondered if anyone could help! Thanks

I wouldn't say identical, but yeah, elements definitely.

Writing to Reach You is also a tribute to Wonderwall. Same chords if I remember correctly. I remember Fran Healy saying he used the same chords as wonderwall when he wrote the song.

Writing to reach you is a tribute to Wonderwall, no doubt. Yeah, same chords and also the lyric is: "Everyday I wake up and it's sunday And whatever's in my eye won't go away The radio is playing all the usual And what's a Wonderwall anyway"

I also remember a Wonderwall/Boulevard of Broken Dreams/Writing To Reach You mix floating around the web some years ago...

Travis are awesome. Fran Healy has one of the most beautiful voices in music.
