He keeps talking in interviews about how his Oasis songs are going to be mainly b-sides for the Oasis connoisseur.
I like that he might play some less-heard songs, but I'm assuming that he's going to trot out the same ones he usually plays at TCT/played on the STC tour.
Also, I listened to the XFM broadcast and heard him say he was struggling to sing SOTWB but I don't think he said he's scrapped it from the live set.

I've changed my mind a bit after having a think about it today:
1. Dream On 2. The Death Of You And Me 3. The Good Rebel 4. (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach 5. AKA.....Broken Arrow 6. A Simple Game Of Genius
ACOUSTIC SET: 7. The Masterplan 8. Half The World Away 9. Talk Tonight 10. Alone On The Rope ( this will be the song NME claimed was going to be BRAND NEW seeing how at the time of the interview I don't think anyone knew about it?) 10. If I Had A Gun 11. Sad Song
END OF ACOUSTIC SET: 12. AKA....What A Life 13. I Wanna Live In A Dream (In My Record Machine) ---- with a small outro cameo from Stop The Clocks I Think) 14. I'd Pick You Everytime 15. Solder Boys and Jesus Freaks 16. Little By Little 17. Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me
ENCORE: 18. Wonderwall 19. Don't Look Back In Anger 20. Everybody's On The Run (extended outro)

I'll be really dissapointed if he's playing If I Had A Gun acoustic.
I really, really want that masterpiece with a full band at Hammersmith Apollo next saturday.

Can't believe he's playing live starting in 6 days! This is going to be a very interesting one...hopefully we get some high quality video so we can kick off the live Noel feeding frenzy as early as possible.

Is he going to play everything thats been out other than STC and AOTR? Take your best guess at the order and which Oasis songs he'll play. Dont shoot me for a dumb question, but why wouldnt he play STC and AOTR?

I know....I'll probably love it regardless (I thought Liam sounded amazing at the Fairfax gig on Oasis' last US tour, miles worse than Noel's voice will be) but I'm actually a bit worried. I hope he finds his feet early on. Oasis were scant on stage theatrics and Noel's now minus the only two people who ever did anything on stage (Gem and Liam). Hope the music stands up live so that people focus on that and not Noel's skills as a frontman.

He's said in interviews that he won't be playing STC live because he can't sing it, and he's said he'll play 2 b-sides/bonus tracks from the album..we just don't know which they will be. Not a dumb question!

But I am going to be familiar and love the songs enough and I don't really care that much about bopping around on stage so as long as the music is credibly delivered I'll enjoy it. He could struggle with the casual fan though. I think a lot will depend on his band. I hope they are good and that he gives them a little bit of space to do their own thing. With the fact that not all those sounds can go on tour with them I think it would be beneficial to allow the band to have a bit of fun. I actually wish that he were talking about them a bit more...giving them a bit of personality for us before people see the band play, if you know what I mean? We don't even know the second guitarists name!

We don't even know the second guitarists name! Agreed. We get the idea that they're not his band and that we probably shouldn't get too used to seeing this particular lineup on stage...it just doesn't make sense that he's not putting the spotlight on them a bit more if for no other reason than to minimize the pressure on himself to be amazing and funny.

Exactly. It makes sense that he should mention that we shouldn't get too comfortable with a lineup...but I don't think that there is anything wrong with us getting to know his band a bit. Realistically they are going to be as much a part of him live show as Noel. Particularly since from a few comments it sound like Noel isn't even going to be the lead guitarist. I liked Noel's comments about the High Flying Birds being whoever is around @ the time...he should go with that and stop pulling back from calling those players his High Flying Birds. He's more recently begun saying that HGHFB is only him...it sounds incredibly lame that way. I think he is so afraid of overselling his show that he has been underselling his band. I can count on one hand the number of times that he has said they are great musicians. The most common comment seems to be they look weird. Although I suppose he has nothing to lose by underselling his live show. The gigs are sold out so he doesn't have to worry about putting off sales and when the gig reviews start coming in the premise is set up to be "Noel's shows aren't as bad as he said they'd be" if they are even halfway decent
