Part of me says that has to be his set closer, because he can't really close on an Oasis song and he's always liked to play Don't Look Back In Anger (the only other obvious set closer I can think of off the top of my head) second to last.

There was a song he mentioned in Mojo that he wished he'd covered for a bside, but might rehearse to play live.
Can't remember the name now but I'll look it up when I get home...

It was Sunshine by The Gun. Great song but I doubt he'll play it. Would go off though, we'd at least get some guitar heroics.

Don't think he'll play Wonderwall. Half The World Away, Talk Tonight, Masterplan, Falling Down and Don't Look Back in Anger would be my guess.

AKA... What A Life, could be a possible set opener, but I believe he'll go with EOTR...
For the Oasis tunes, I'd guess: Wonderwall, Whatever, Slide Away, Live Forever (hope so), Talk Tonight and DLBIA (closer)

EDIT: yeah, suppose whatever and talk tonight are possible too.

i'd say Simple Game Of Genius would be a decent set closer with a huge guitar jam, something along the lines of the strung out ending I Am The Walrus on the DOYS tour but with a bit more bite Yeah man, this gets my vote! ...And a shout for Angel Child during the acoustic section

He should play Alone On The Rope and A Simple Game Of Genius (with the guitar solos)!
As for Oasis songs...I guess he'll be definitely playing DLBIA, HTWA, TIOBI, The Masterplan, Wonderwall. I wish he'd also play Whatever (which seems quite possible), Slide Away, Listen Up, Live Forever and Supersonic. Falling Down or Where did it all go wrong would be great, too!

One Liam song? Definitely not Wonderwall, IIRC he stated that he was tired of playing it live a few years ago. He just said his favorite Oasis tune is Supersonic and he played that one live already, so that's an option, but I'm really hoping for Listen Up - amazing tune that was always better with Noel singing, could be a real hit with orchestra and choir

Sounds like he will play She Electric
Mentioned it in an interview saying "why shouldn't I play songs like She's Electric?"

I would shit myself if he played She's Electric. The version he did on the Heathen Chemistry tour was phenomenal.

I reckon he'll play 9 songs off the album, 2 b-sides and 5-7 Oasis tracks. He'll be playing familiar Oasis songs, and my guess would is: Wonderwall Dont Look Back In Anger The Masterplan Half The World Away Supersonic The Importance Of Being Idle Live Forever

I really, really, hope he doesn't play She's Electric. I mean, I love that song and all but...the way he sang on 2001-2002 shows was really shite. It's like he was bored and didn't want to sing at all.

He said he is playing 1 that Liam sang. correct, and he also stated, 'it wouldn't be a proper gig without wonderwall' .... so that must be the one then. oh, great

You all seem to have missed the fact that he said on the XFM playback the other day that he has canned both STC and (SO)TWB.

He said he is playing 1 that Liam sang. correct, and he also stated, 'it wouldn't be a proper gig without wonderwall' .... so that must be the one then. oh, great I know what you mean, but you have to realize just how big that song was. In some parts of the globe 'Wonderwall' is to Oasis what 'Don't Worry Be Happy' was to Bobby McFerrin (kinda like it is where I live). And he's played DLBIA more times than Wonderwall, so it wouldn't even his most played song
