Is the fact that after all this, that next year were going to get another mountain of songs from Noel and Beady Eye. Now they've both put something out, i think the standards can only get higher, as disappointing as Oasis splitting was, its a remarkable amount of material we'll have by the time next year finishes. 4 entire albums worth of tunes plus all B-sides. Lord knows how many years it would have taken to get that sort of output from Oasis. Super exciting times really.
P.S - Been knocking about on here for years but always been a bit worried to really join in with all the fun, never wanted to come across as a idiot newb which there seems to be so many of! So anyhow, nice to meet y'all!

Sadly, it will be the other way: you´ll get more quantity and some glimpses of quality.

Maybe Noel's success with THFB will make Liam, Gem & Andy raise their song-writing games. Who knows??

Hello MikeyP, welcome along!
Good point, it would have taken Oasis years to get out that much material, so yeah that's a good thing of course. But like others have said, it's gotta be quality too. Which I have every faith it will be.
I'm personally really looking forward to Noel's AA album, he's really gonna stretch his wings with it I think. It's gonna be his most creative project. Beady Eye are Beady Eye, rocking, doing their thing which I don't think will ever be mind-blowing, but I dig it all the same. It's my kinda music, I love Liam and I'll look forward to their next album.

We'll get the AA album from Noel, then a new Beady Eye album, then a reunion in 2014.

That's the best thing. I'm really liking both albums, whereas if the band was still together, they could well be recording the follow-up to DOYS, by now.
