What if we take these to albums/bands and pretent they are Oasis songs for an Oasis album, how would your perfect Beady Eye - Noel Gallagher - album look like?
B-sides are allowed.
make an album of 12 songs...

The only 2 songs worthy of being on a album like this are maybe The Roller, The Morning Son...
and maybe... just maybe Bring The Light.... for a 3rd, but that's it.

heathenchemistry02 - Come on fella, we all have different opinions, i like about 6 Beady Eye songs, obviously you dont think much of the album.
At the moment everyones super high on the Noel album, give it a few months and it will all settle down. Noels album is excellent, 'some' tunes are a bit 'meh' though, still great but not epics.

If I'm forced to change the NGHFB album, I'd include The Roller and Four Letter Word, but I'd rather just keep NGHFB the way it is. Perfect.

I love finally having a Noel Gallagher fully written album again. I wouldn't even combine them if the BDI album had better tunes.
My fave BDI tunes are TR, FLW and WOMR. And I wouldn't put any of them on Noel's album. And I actually wouldn't want to take off any of Noel's songs...even the ones I like the least...because even those ones I really like in the context of the album.

Love both Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds but I think both releases put in perspective how good Oasis really were  Ps Heathenchemistry's fanboy posts (not just this thread but mainly others) are really boring  |

I tried my best to like Beady Eye. Bought the album, saw them live but I just ended up feeling embarrassed for them. |

His album is also better than DGSS but being an Oasis fan I can listen to both albums depending on what mood I'm in. Also elchupacabra, embarrassed by what? You could argue that Morning Son wouldn't look out of place in this album and also Wigwam is a great tune. Don't see how Oasis fans can be 'embarrassed' by Beady eyes effort. Fuck it, Noel should have just sang all 8 albums! |
