Probably my favorite out of the new songs( with EOTR close behind). I can definitely hear the Smiths influence, would have been great to have Johnny Marr on it.

I love it. Reminds me of Mercury Rev for some reason - must be the theremin / saw...

Best on the album, perhaps.

It sounds different from most of the songs on the album. I really like it. Kinda like Part Of The Queue mixed with a more anthemic Noel song.

"Here to say I never told you so" It's about lamenting a death of a friend, isn't it? -- ya know, about not saying a word when said friend was doing heroin or whathaveyou but then friend drops dead. Just a bundle of confliction emotions inside, isnt it?

The vast majority of reviewers seemed to massively understate this song - which actually made it a nice surprise.

My favorite song on the album. Not sure why the reviewers seemed to pass this up and label it as a filler or something along those lines.

Yeah it's crazy... reading the reviews you would think this song was an afterthought. This song is the glue that holds the second half of the album together, in my opinion.

What was the glue that held the first half of the album together? The first half doesn't need glue, because all of those songs (with the possible exception of Dream On) could potentially be strong singles.

Okay, I get it now. But, seriously, what if they're like adhesions, and one's hanged on too much to another, thereby causing tension and lost contact with the one just right after that, you know what I mean? like, one is too connected to the other and just tear away, like caulk for bathroom tiles and how it's peeling off, you know what I mean?

Definitely my favorite of the unheard tunes. Kinda holds a girl in the dirty shit spot. Never would be a single, but its definitely a highlight.

"girl in the dirty shit" Is that from Round My Way, ya know, the Oasis parody band from Des Moines?
Like to modify and say that I also love "Girl In the Dirty Shirt" first song I played my father's car that got me some pussy that very night I was driving her home from the Sonic

Easily the best thing on the album. The only song I feel the urge to listen to.

What a tune loving it. The acoustic clip of Noel playing it in the making of the album sounds cool as well.

It's brilliant, although not sure what Johnny Marr could've added as the intro sounds like him anyway! Love it, and I imagine it'll be incredible live

This is one of my favorites. Love the back to back of this and Wrong Beach. Fantastic songs.
Times like these I wish I had a uterus so I could have Noel's baby.
