So in your opinion, having listened to the full album, and having listened to the B-sides, should any of them have been on the album (replacing one of the songs, or just adding itself on)?
IMO, in order: The good rebel: It's grown on me, but doesnt have the same quality as the other songs on the album. At best it could have been a hidden track, but that would have distracted us from the ending of STC.
I'd pick you every time: Never got the vibe of this song, and would never fit on the album (too short for one thing).
Let the lord shine a light on me: Probably the B-side with the biggest potential, and could have maybe been on the album. I love this song. But i don't think it fits with the other songs, vibe-wise. Its so much more dark and introspective, that it works better alone IMO. I wouldnt know where to put it on the album, so better leave it as a B-side.
Alone on the rope: Ok not a B-side, but still standalone. Like let the lord shine a light on me, a great song, but wouldnt fit IMO with the other songs. Standalone is better for it.
Whats your opinion guys?

I think Noel actually got the b-sides right this time. If any of the b-sides were on the album it would ruin the flow of it, in my opinion, and that song would easily be my least favorite on it.

It would seem he has learnt from his mistakes from the past (IE: almost all of The Masterplan, Idler's dream, Flashbax, Cigarettes in hell, lets all make believe...)

Alone On The Rope has the quality to be on the album as an 11th track, but we don't know how Noel intends to use it. Apart from that, maybe LTLSALOM could have replaced SBAJF, but it's definitely no The Masterplan or Listen Up.

I wonder what made Noel realise about the quality of b-sides. As you say, these are great, but no masterplan (which is great for the album)

I love the tracklisting as is.
I think Noel may have gotten it right! SHOCK, AMAZEMENT!
He's finally reached a point of balancing his desire for flow and the need for quality

This is the first time I think I've ever had zero gripes about b-sides left out of the album. Kudos, Noel. Finally got it right

Difficult as he shouldnt add songs for the sake of it BUT an album with just 10 songs ? Does take the mick a bit, thankfully theres a ton of gems but always expect albums to have 12 or 13 songs.
Was hoping for a few more, really am enjoying the b sides though

the b-sides just don't fit in the context of the album. and i don't think there is one good enough for the album
