...Jim Jones and the People's Temple. And the other Jim Jones-- James Jones' novel SOME CAME RUNNING. eerie, it's about fucking hippie new cult chicks and dying through poison KoolAid and the 50's surbubia mania of lost loves after WWII and that.
What d'ya-guys reckon?

I think the intro and the recurring beat remind me a lot of Billy Joe Royal's 1969 hit single, "Cherry Hill Park."

I get a really strong Elanor Rigby vibe... anyone else? When I heard the samples I immediately went to Eleanor Rigby played by The Kinks

I get a really strong Elanor Rigby vibe... anyone else? Nahh, that's too Thomas Hardyian. It's more of a James Jones' SOME CAME RUNNING vibe going on. You should read that novel.

I want to swallow poison KoolAid and foam at the mouth, and listen to this. Except that I can't listen to this again-- Oh no, there's goes my fantasy.

Really liked this song, has a She's Electric vibe. I agree-- it's about unwanted pregnancies, isn't it? (Planned Parenthood has become such a cockup)
