yeah. after the release of TDOYAM i was quite sceptical, but EOTR makes the end of Oasis worth it, finaly... and Record Machine, we should not forget this song.

I love it. The ending is epic. But it feels too fast, too me. I have never experienced a sound check ruining the final product for me - for example, I fucking love the studio version of IIHAG, stunning stuff.
But I think I'm used to the slowness of the soundcheck for EOTR. Granted, it's been only one listen, and I'm sure I will get used to the finished version as everything else about it is epic - especially the ending.
Great song, though, don't get me wrong.

The first time you heat Noel, it's so powerful... Really love this tune. But I don't think it's that much better than IIHAG, RM, TDOYAM or STC (which I really, really like)
Only time will tell how the songs will grow on me. I already like the album a lot more on third than on second listen.
And now I'm going to bed, I need to get up in a few hours ;-)
