I just saw that Mossy posted that Clash have given 'another' bad review.
I have seen positive reviews in the main (apart from uncut) but a fair few of these are by what I would consider fans of noel/Oasis. Without the want of sounding lazy I am very interested (and would be very grateful) to get some idea of the ratio of good to bad reviews.
Any help will be greatly appriciated, and i am sorry if this is old hat, but at least its not fake leak bollocks.

Most of the reviews I've read have been bang on. Apart from the ones with the obvious oasis/Noel prejudice

They obviously gave it to all the right reviewers this time around, and in a way where no one could go to their desk and grab it (which is why most things get leaked in the first place). I hope this becomes the standard that all labels use since it seems to work very well.

very concerned of it being front loaded as DOYS but i hope its good. i can not see if being great with so many mid paced tracks. but give me an amazing EOTR and improved TM and STC throw in DO which is supposed to be very good and i will be more than happy and nicely tied over until The AA offering.

Answering your question, among the magazine reviews and leaving blogs aside, Q and Mojo gave the album 4/5 stars, Rolling Stone Germany gave it 5/5 and Uncut gave it 2/5. Guitar World also did positive comments about a preview of the album, but it was not a proper review. NME did positive reviews of IIHAG and TDOYAM and placed WAL on top of their chart, but they have not reviewed the album yet.
I know some people posted reviews from other countries (mostly positive),but I do not remember the exact scores. They should not be hard to find using the search engine if you are curious...

uups, among the "official" media, I forgot to mention BBC; their review is in the news section. It does not give a score, but it is mostly positive.

The two bad reviews I've read have been by Clash and Uncut. Both were badly written and seemed to have an agenda. So I'm still very excited about the album as everyone else is very positive about it! I've not read Uncut for years, but always thought it was pretty reputable with good reviewers, so it's a shame to see such a badly researched / written review in there, especially as a fair few of its readers are probably people with a casual interest in Noel...

If you want to know how reliable The Clash review is, it apparently says The Importance of Being Idle is the worst single by Oasis...

Haha I know, that's a pretty mind blowing statement really.
