I hate to start yet another Stop the Clocks thread, but Noel's track-by-track comments that are on the thread in the "Simply the Best Rock n' Roll Band in the world"-forum have Noel saying something about "Stop the Clocks."
Is that comment real? B/c other threads about Noel's comments in this forum and in others have no mention of "Stop the Clocks."

I'm wondering if that track-by-track chat with Noel was done some time ago - while the band were still debating whether or not to put Stop The Clocks on the album - but published a bit later.
That could explain why other - more recent? - tracklists haven't mentioned Stop The Clocks, because they've already had the debate and decided not to put it on there.
Just a thought.

Bearing in mind that that issue of Q is out next week, taking into account printing deadlines and the like, that interview is going to be, at the least, a month old. Well in advance of the confirmed album tracklisting press release. So basically, Stop The Clocks isn't on the album. It was very close to being on there, but isn't.

If its not on the album who cares, the other songs must be better. Oasis must have thought it didnt fit and we should trust them( at least one more time) that they know how to make great albums.
