just a thought, but, the importance of being idle seems to be a title about slowing time down and doing nothing, and that sounds like you'd be stopping the clocks..... see where I'm going with this?

yeah you're right to think about it but noel recently made a track-by-track review of DBTT (for nme i think) and he both mentionnet stop the clocks and the importance of being idle.
so, nobody knows about stop the clocks exept that this song exist with that name. and what future for it? b-side, next -new contract- album, hidden?

I know people are sick of hearing crap about what the titles sound like but that would be trading in a great song title for a really bad one so I hope it isn't true. It probably isn't, but only time will tell.
P.S. If the "lay your love down" lyrics for STC are real then I doubt it's become TIOBI, with the way Noel said it was about being a lazy bastard.

what did noel say about stop the clocks, i didnt see anything about it when i read it on this site. And again it said 12 songs but it only had 11 down is stop the clocks the 12th?
