Yeah, so what side are you on? Personally I don't really want it to leak. It would be nice to go to the shop, buy it and then listen to it for the first time. But if it leaks, I'll download it straight away  For me, there's no point in waiting to listen to something you really want to hear for so long already if it's out there! |

Far less than I wanted DGSS, but that was more because we'd been starved of any music for 2 years. Not a reflection on Noel or Beady Eye in any way.
If it leaks I'll download it, if not I'll not be fussed

Fuck yes I want it to leak. As an American fan, who would have to wait until November, the Sour Mash braintrust is IDIOTIC.
American fans know they'll hear it long before the November release date. We'll all still buy it. But, I think that puts all of us firmly in the ....LET IT LEAK ALREADY boat.
Staggered released dates seems so 1994.

I'll be downloading it because I'm in Canada.
But I don't count it as a leak unless it comes before it's first release which would be the 12th without the record company being the one to have released it.
I actually think it's gonna be streamed on several sites Monday.
I don't need it to leak at this point though. It's close enough.

No, I ruined the listening experience for Dig Out Your Soul and Beady Eye by listening to leaks - so when I put forward my cash, I didn't really have any thrill in buying it, despite me liking the albums. I've learnt to revel in my music by buying it first, then hearing it first by blasting it through the stereo in it's high quality form, reading the little booklet from the CD - rather than a dodgy mp3 perhaps.

I'm all set to pick up the vinyl at my local store at release date and they will put in an extra 7" AKA WAL aswell, great guys. Not going to download any leaks. I did listen to the 30 sec clips before I even realised I didn't really want to. Was totally hypnotized by the news, desperate to hear anything. But now I'm going to remain patient and wait until the moment I can put this amazing piece on my record player.

I've probably told this story before, but I didn't download the DBTT leak and waited until the actual release.
It was absolute torture, but my reasoning was that it was released the day before my birthday (30th May, birthday is the 31st) so it'd be like being a child again, getting a CD for your birthday and listening for the first time.
Except the website we ordered it from didn't dispatch it until the actual release date, and even then it got lost in the post, so I didn't hear it until a good week or so after the release. Fuck that.
I've pre-ordered Noel's album and if it doesn't leak then so be it, I'm not as hyped up as some are on here. But if it does leak then like shite am I sitting waiting while everyone discusses it, can't put myself through that again!
