I know for sure he's been good play in Austin, Houston, and Dallas. Texas and California stations have really helped propel him up there, imo.

I was looking at 2 different list. TDOYAM was played in Dallas. And Austin's on the list twice for IIHAG. Got tripped up when I saw Texas 3 times on the IIHAG list. Naturally thought one was also Dallas. So it's been played in Houston KTBZ-FM and Austin KGSR-FM and KROX-FM.

Liam is hard at work trying to figure out a way to screw it up for him this time! Noel was always number one in America, my statesmen were just too dumb to realize it. I mean look who we elected as presidents the past two years. Sad group of people we are.

btw i see the chart lists the artist as Noel Gallagher only, no mention of the "High Flying Birds". Will never understand what Noel was thinking in the first place. Another thing, i see the song @ number 30, up 4 spots from the previous week, not 25 like you said.

I posted an link above from Billboard that lists it as #25. www.billboard.com/charts/alternative-songs?order=gainer#/charts/alternative-songs?order=gainerohhhhhhhhh, you might be looking at the mediabase. Mediabase isn't Billboard. It's just one of the indicators. Nielsen is probably the closest, but Mediabase isn't too bad. But yeah, it's #25 on Billboard.

I see it at #25 and listed as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart? Anyway great news. Good to see he is getting some attention in America. Beady Eye were only getting extremely minor play if I remember correctly.

Seriously, if mainstream pop stations here shoved it down peoples' throats America would fucking love it. The directness, honesty and open-heart sentiment really speak to our mainstream music audience, I think. Look what happened with Mumford & Sons.
