At the beginning and end of the WAL video (http://tinyurl.com/akawal) there are exerts of what sounds like an AA remix of TDOYAM.
I assume this means that it will be on the album.

Cool, can't wait to get to a computer and see this vid.
So that's IIHAG, TDOYAM and SOTWB on there. Potentially Only one more to find out about.
I thought both STC and RM would get the AA treatment, but I guess from the NME video STC is something that was difficult to record and that he wants to put to rest now...

They sound too normal for AA if that makes sense.
Maybe it's just an outtake from the recording sessions?

Not everthing The AA do is a jazz freakout. check out High and Dry on YouTube. As Noel Gallagher was partially involved I expect the odd catchy melody and chorus on the AA produced album

TDOYAM definitely got the AA treatment. Sounds miles better than IIHAG, and the music in the IIHAG AA clip was really cool as well. Just not sure that the vocals will translate well. Got to say, surprising songs have been confirmed for the AA album so far. I would not have picked IIHAG, TDOYAM, and SBJF to be the ones he chose. I think my initial guess was RM and the two AKA tracks. Edit: This was before we found out that Broken Arrow was not a companion piece to WAL or what the titles meant, in my defense

Gotta say, I thought the AA stuff was all freshly recorded with them as producers, not remixers
The IIHAG bit at the end of the video...the vocal sounds like a completely different recording. Whereas the TDOYAM stuff sounds more like a remix. So I wonder if they have remixed a few tunes as well, maybe for a few b-sides when he does the singles for the second album, or a bonus disc like we got on DOYS etc. Just complete speculation on my part anyway, but I wouldn't be surprised if AA had done work on a lot of the songs on HFB that won't form part of the AA album, if that makes sense.
That being said, anyone ripped any mp3s of the samples from the AKA...WAL video coz they are really fucking cool whatever they are

As far as the song selection for the AA album goes.
Noel said that it was after listening to what the AA had done to IIHAG that made him decided to also make a more traditional album.
The snippet we have could be from that mix...but that isn't necessarily gonna end up on the album

Good shout. Entirely possible if they're still working on it several months after it was first announced as "being in the can"... Plus Noel originally said it would be 18 tracks long, but more recently has said 13...
