I don't like any of the series of vids. almost desperate in that they are so blatantly american-centric, dated in a kind of 90's MTV way, some good looking birds, a bit of desert, so big cars - haven't seen any of that before have we? Noel is almost an afterthought in them. they remind me of Fatboy Slim's vids from when he was cracking america, kind of 'need to get the artist in her somewhere' type things. And how 'parker' does noel look in the final 'moviecar' driving sequence? 'yes, m'lady'  I thought I was the only one who didn't like this video... Definitely agree. |

It's pretty cool. Feel the part with Serge from Kasabian (Sorry, I mean Russell Brand) is a bit too lengthy though. But over all, pretty cool.

I love the whistled TDOYAM solo at the beginning and end.  He should do that during the acoustic performances like he does for TIOBI ones The "It's Noel Gallagher" thing was fucking hilarious. I had to stop the video because I was laughing too hard. What a weird trip. Anyone ever read Dune? "Fear is the mind killer" and all that. Noel is creepy as the camera man...made more so by the fact that he doesn't even seem to be enjoying it. lol. So in the end he has trapped them in the film or something? Funny that the NG filmed parts remind me a bit of the Millionaire concept. |
