You know what I agree that hearing people say (when they see your Oasis shirt on your back) oh yeah i like Oasis, that CD with Wonderwall is in my car right now... kinda gets at you a little, but come on people! Stop your crying. To me people who take pride in being a huge fan of something is more pathetic then those who are just casual fans int he first place. I feel like people want too badly to say they know more about certain bands or they like them better. These people are worse then your "posers". How can you seriously be mad at somebody for liking Oasis, who cares if its not as much as all of us here. You can't tell me you are not a casual fan of some other bands as these folks are with Oasis. We all know Oasis is the best band in the world so next time someone says "oh yeah I love that Wonderwall song" please don't lash out, looking like a fool saying "OH JEES you have no idea, you aren't a real fan like I am..."(which by the way makes us all look like fools). Instead try responding with something like "Yeah man, you should really take a listen to other things. I'll make you a mixed CD and listen. (YOU KNOW if you do that then it will soon lead to 7 more LP sales for Oasis). As the man says... "I just wanna make some fuckin music man, d'you know what I mean?" cheers! most people i know only know wonderwall, and only downloaded it from limewire or kazaa. people who own no records of certain bands aren't even casual fans.

Do you not have songs downloaded from "Limewire or Kazaa" from bands and don't own the actual record? Just because it is Oasis you have to be terribly offended? I don't get it. Bottom line is we all illegally download music and yes, if I like the music I DO buy it so to me I am doing nothing wrong, as I'm sure you are the same way. But theres always songs we have and do not own the record.

sort of like the ramones t-shirts you see everywhere in the us nowadays... i asked one of them who goes to my school if they liked the ramones, she said, "wait... they're a band?!?!" ;D and then there's this one kid who wears this sweatshirt with sid vicious on it, and i asked him if he liked the sex pistols. he said, "who the fuck are the sex pistols?" its true. rock n roll and punk are used like 'look at me! im wearign a sex pistols t shrit! im a punk! im cool! im not mainstream' it pissed me off last year when suddenly the sex pistols became 'cool' at my school. basically meant a lot of people knew the chorus of anarchy in the UK. adn therefore are 'punks' fuck off! -.- but i cant say i have the problem of oasis fan posers. most people dont know oasis, other than identifyign wonderwall i rectify the situation by lending them an oasis album and educating them. and i dont mind people not liking oasi, as long as they have listened to them!!! i cant stand people who say they dont like oasis 'cos they're arrogant' or whatever. fair enough, but what the fuck has that got to do with the music?
