If there are tracks of equal or superior quality to IIHAG, then this album is destined to be colossal. If I Had A Gun is a classic. And to think we have a polished RM, EOTR, DO to come, too. Good things.

I'm surprised people think IIHAG is better than TDOYAM. At this rate, TDOYAM will become one of the most underrated noel songs to me

TDOYAM is only a shade behind IIHAG for me.
They are both great tunes. I'm really happy with that I have heard so far.

I prefer TDOYAM and the Record Machine demo to IIHAG, so unless Noel totally fucked up the production of RM, there is at least 1 "new" track I prefer and 1 old. And if the rest of the songs are on the same level as IIHAG, I'll be very happy with that.

Very disappointed with IIHAG. I actually like the song but it reminds me of Sunday Morning Call in that the production makes it totally unlistenable to me (sounds like a generic Snow Patrol album track). I think it could have been amazing if Noel had gone down the 'After the Goldrush' era Neil Young route some people (me included obviously) were hoping for. Feel kind of the same about 'What a Life' too although TDOYAM has grown on me - would like to think the production on the rest of the album isn't so "Please play this on the radio... pleeeeeeease"
