The Good Rebel is such shit though, I can't believe hes gonna play that rubbish! Yeah I totally agree. It's complete generic, bland, dadrock crap - sounds as if it didn't get past the demo stage, maybe Dave Sardy told him not to bother re-recording it. I love every one of his other tunes so far though. |

The Good Rebel is such shit though, I can't believe hes gonna play that rubbish! ehh I think/hope a live version of the tune will be better. It could have some more emotional vocals from Noel and the rhythm could sound really good live. It won't save the tune from being average (in my opinion) but Noel could give us some good performances of it. It sounds good for the first thirty seconds. Unless he cuts the run time in half, I can't say I'm too happy with this choice. Six Oasis songs definitely makes up for it though! |

Going Nowhere is a shoe in , as soon as I heard TDOYAM , laughed at how brilliant the fella can get. two great songs from one tune , TIOBI becomes TDOYAM , FIO becomes SS , WW becomes DYKWIM that becomes IIHAG etc, but it was the middle 8 brass section that needs to be used for more than one song live .means we can finally hear this great song from the stage , otherwise at a wild stretch Noel will be ROW with ERNIE

I think that TGR could be pretty good live. Not the highlight of the show for sure. But good nonetheless.

You can't really say that it doesn't translate live until he has played it live. I do agree with you in as much as I think it's an average at best song but live in a set full of mid-tempo acoustic based songs it might just be needed.
