Well this interview did the trick, I just booked my ticket for Brixton. 4 Oasis gigs in my lifetime, and this will make 3 Beady Eye gigs in a year. Either I've lost it or the boys are doing something right...

Why is everyone saying oasis songs? They've said loads of times there not going to play them!

Why is everyone saying oasis songs? They've said loads of times there not going to play them! True - but then, things move so quickly. Whatever they say - and they have the right to do what they want, of course - while LAG don't have anything like Noel's back catalogue, it's a real shame for them to bench Songbird, I'm Outta Time, Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, Turn Up The Sun, and the rest of them. Here's hoping they run through Bubble and Blue Moon at the upcoming gigs. WOMY is my favourite Beady Eye song, but can't see that happening.

Yep this is a wise move, should have publically said this before the tour.
I remember when Oasis did my big mouth and another Be Here Now song (Magic pie was it ?) way before the album came out which caused a ton of excitement.
Doing one or two new tunes from potentially the next album would be a very wise move.
I do like Beady Eye a lot but i'm not surprised sales have been quiet, despite the ton of promotion 'most' people seem to see a band everytime they have new material. Only the hardcore will go and see the group play the same songs on a single tour time and time again. Beady Eye havent got a huge hardcore fanbase (yet), need to spice it up a bit with some new tunes

Bubble with a Bullet almost certainly I'd think? Would be fantastic live. A new song + cover and drop Wind Up Dream and For Anyone and we're gold.

If they drop Wind Up Dream before I get to see them I'll be very upset I don't think they will dropping any songs mate. The set runs to just over an hour at the moment. If they do add some new songs I can't see them leaving any out with such a short stage time as it is.

Beady Eye badly need a solid set of new tunes for their next album. The first set never exactly set the world alight: they already need to filter out a lot of fluff 'filler' within their live set.
Oasis peaked with their second platter in my view: here's hoping Beady Eye deliver superior goods with the new tunes they are working on as we speak.
Up 'til now, it's been a 'skin of the teeth' job, with every indication that Noel has all the best tunes [again].
With Noel's solo album imminent, the stakes have been raised considerably, it's make-or-break time for Liam and the boys!

Just watching the Tokyo 2002 Dvd makes me long for Born on a Different Cloud to be played live.

Aghhh... with respect, it's not Noel versus Beady Eye - they're different things (songwriter versus rock & roll band) and their success or failure does not depend on the performance of the other!

Whether or not that is true doesn't really matter. It's the perception. And perception does become reality. May not be reality for us hardcore fans, but it probably has become close to reality to many casual/non-fans. To most people, it is Beady Eye vs. Noel. And the success of one, does lead to the failure of another. Sad, because Beady Eye have really held their own and done well for themselves. But if Noel succeeds, it won't be seen as that. Unfortunately.

Right, what the fuck is this, some fuckin Twilight Zone epilogue? Shut it, cause you're just spewing banal benign shit again.
