Your all missing the point about this song. Its not just Noel who has said its his best song. Its the people who have actually heard it. Radio 1 DJ Colin Murray said it was their best song since whats the story, not that his opinion means much but im just saying, people who were in Zanzibar in May 03 say its brilliant too. But we shall see!

yeah but in the latest interviews he said his favorite song was The Importance Of Being Idle... so maybe we should really focus for that one!

I remember reading the lyrics for Stop the Clocks, they were probably the best Oasis lyrics since Cigs and Alcohol. However he said Stop the Clocks was his 'The La's' song. He also said The Importance of Being idle was a cross between 'The Kinks' and 'The La's'. Perhaps they are the same song. I hope not though as that would entail lyric modification.
