Alright! So just to talk about the coming release and get a little more excited I've decided to do a review of the songs we've heard so far...

Everybody's on the Run
I must admit, i've only listened to it once on YouTube 'cause I didn't want to create unfair expectations of what I think the song could/should sound like. That being said, I loved it. Class melody/lyrics. Looking forward to it.

If I Had a Gun
Love it, 9/10. The most Oasisy song we've heard yet. The verses are incredible and the chorus takes the song to another level. Even my friend who proper despises Oasis (hates Liam's voice

) loves this song. Tune.

The Death of You and Me
Loved it from the start. To me it sounds like Neil Young doing the Kinks. Beautiful craftsmenship. I really love this style of music. Cruisy, retro music with that British undertone. 8.5/10

Record Machine
I've tried to listen to this song as little as possible. Still amassed a fair few plays. Love the melody - classic Noel - and the lyrics. The line 'Build a little fire when it's cold' is top of the line IMO. Not going to rate it yet... But I know it will be a really good tune.

What a Life
The song that divided the fans. Really into this song. Tried to not listen to it that much 'cause I want to hear it in the context of the album. But I rate it an 8/10. Think it will be a middle of the range song on the album for some reason... I can see how it would appeal to non-Oasis fans. Really good song.

Stop the Clocks
Always been into this song from the start. I actually think it's as good as anything his done. The lyrics are that effing good. The melody, the structure. Some people aren't into it which really confuses me. I think it could be song of the album. I just really fucking love this song.

The Good Rebel
Cat shit. Not into it at all. Liam would have made the song sound good me thinks. But don't rate it one bit. Hope the next B-Sides are better.

What's everyone else think of the songs we've heard?

I want to know what you guys feel about them and your expectations for the album.

I have really high expectations for the album and I also think that they will be surpasses. Noel just writes the kind of music that I love.

Slow forum this days eh!
Really like everything except the rebel. And Stop the clocks sounds beatiful in its finished form.
My only concern are the songs 7-9, from wich we know nothing. Everybody is on the run, dream on and Record machine have potential to be as good as the three first singles or even better.
But the leak is gettin imminent
