Am I the only one who has this view:

I want a modern sound, modern production, a la Dig out your soul rock and roll pop production.

Not the style of song...just the feel.

The Beady Eye album - INTENTIONALLY - is produced to sound old.

I hope for the second album they write and produce an album of a modern rock and roll band

liam has the best rocknroll voice out there, he shouldn't waste it to sing kill for a dream, for anyone, the beat goes on... and so on.

that would be the chance to get my attention. otherwise noels AA album will kick their asses by far

Would I ever leave this company? Look, I’m all about loyalty. In fact, I feel like part of what I’m being paid for here is my loyalty. But if there were somewhere else that valued loyalty more highly… I’m going wherever they value loyalty the most.

I agree very much. It's half the reason why they copped alot of bad feedback.

You can still have that retro-english feel with modern production and ideas. You know, Don't Believe the Truth and Dig Out Your Soul. Very english but also modern and has that timeless element to it.

I even think they nailed The Roller with the production and vibe.

I really hope they hit their straps with the 2nd album. I truly believe they have alot of good music to give for a long period of time.

I think they need to do what you've suggested whilst trying to keep the vibe if the album together. Something... A feeling which binds the whole thing.

I feel they need to get their groove on, similar to songs like The Turning...

Not to heavy rock, to me it just doesn't come of for several reasons. IMO, they are too old to craft songs like Slide Away and Rock N Roll Star.

They have so much potential and i'll be waiting for the goods to be delivered. I have decent expectations for this band.

All i hope they do is write some better songs, and use less effects on liams voice. The effect on SOTS is quite cool, but apart from that i think the sound on FA,soteotn,TBGO, tms drowns his voice. More like Millionaire, the roller, kill for a dream and four letter word.

hopefully no SOTEOTN sequels

i'm hoping for a WOMR/ITBWTB-esque album, but i can see them doing a heavier album than DGSS. i just hope the 2 minute pointless rockers disappear and (this might upset a few people) i would like to see more Liam penned tunes as i think he is head and shoulders above Gem & Andy (IMO).

get andy bell to write some wicked solo's or some guitar hooks. Chris is doing a superb job with his drumming right now. I would love if DIV produced. Gem needs to help Liam more on making his songs sound more complete although Liam is continuing to improve. Liam needs to continue to take care of his voice. Overall some stronger tunes would be the best. I'm expecting their sophomore album to be a bit better than DGSS.

Get Gem to stop writing songs. I've never really liked anything hes written aside from maybe one or two songs.

Keep the music coming. The first album was pretty good overall. With all brand new songs I think the second one should be better.
