Just to show how ridiculous all this is getting . . .
The Ear Has No Memory could have a clever hidden message to it as well.
You see, Noel has slagged off Be Here Now many times. And the last two albums weren't as well recieved as were the first two. Also, we know that this will be an experimental record. So from that we can deduct that Noel wants people to forget all about the old sound when they hear the new. But he can't make thier minds do it. So he goes to the next best thing. The EARS, man!!! Your ears CAN'T remember what Little James sounded like, and all you're hearing is that fresh new sound! Woah!
The above is absolute garbage that I made up as I was writing it. Anyone who did take that or the other drivel about politics seriously needs to put down the hash pipe and tune in to sanity fm.

I disagree....pizzy's explanation is quite good and i agree with it... Altho it is possible i dont think the title is political, jsut that it could be

IF the title is dont believe the truth i dont think it is a political one and that it refers to bush...the link is easy to make but i dont think noel and the other members of the band would use they latest album to raise a political point or to defend their political opinion... noel actually talks about politics sometimes but as a person not for the band...the other members dont talk much and when they do they talk about music...oasis has always claimed to be a rock band and that's it. when one member gives an opinion about something else than music i think that's his own opinion and not the band's opinion... they're not like coldplay which you can associate to fair trade for example... that's just my opinion... ;D

That Booker was a fuckin' nob telling Noel not to talk to Liam until the NYC concert. He was talking like Oasis' What's the Story was their last album.

And Don't Believe the Truth could be a very clever political message. OASIS are not about FUCKIN POLITICS THATS BONO TERRITORY......WHATEVER THE TITLE OF THE LP IT WONT BE ANTI BUSH ,ANTI BLAIR ,ANTI ANYTHING(EXCEPT RODNEY WILLIAMS,,LOL) ITS ABOUT HAVIN A GOOD TIME AND BEING MADFERIT ...IF YOU WANT TO LOOK FOR CLANDESTINE MEANINGS IN ALBUM TITLES MY FRIEND GO SUPPORT RADIOHEAD OR COLDPLAY OR THE POPE HIMSELF BONO ..LEAVE OASIS OUT OF IT....THERE IS MY RANT I CAN DRINK NOW

this is oasis man, they probably just thought it sounded good or read it somewhere. i doubt its of any political influence ha ha, i agree. people read into the meaning of standing of the shoulder of giants...bout how its a reference to the beatles and other bands as their influences or whatever...and that turned out that he just saw it on a coin and thought it sounded nifty. same with heathen chemistry, found it one a tshirt or somthing. so i doubt the new one will have some deep inner significance.
