Yeah. He sounds just a bit pitchy. He was looking a bit for that sweet spot.
Still a good vocal, just not that great, classic, Noel vocal we're all use to.
Edit: just heard it through headphones. Sounds better. But still a bit off.

It's only with the high parts he's having a problem though, the other parts are quite good & strong..

Could be anything, cold, flu, tired, hungover etc. No where near what we could call the worst set of vocals from a Gallagher

not his strongest but the song is tough to sing and to be honest he is probably still trying to figure out how to sing it live and all that jazz

hmmm.... it'll be interesting seeing(or rather hearing) how Noel's voice start sounding like after so many gigs in which he actually has to sing more than 4 songs

Jesus boys, he's just warming up, he's still in rehearsal mode, it'll be awesome live, dont worry about that!

Sounds like he is in great form to me. Although he does look like he is trying to have a shit when he does the "ah" bits.

I'm loving getting these acoustic versions. If he keeps these up during promotion we're pretty much going to get an alternative acoustic version of the album :-)
Speculating further, if he does this for the second album, it'll be good for anyone who doesn't like the AA cosmic-space-jazz production...

Seems strangely timid in his delivery for these acoustic performances so far, not sure why.

To be honest I prefer the album version although this is still very good.

Sounds like Noel needs to do some more work for this song. He sounds torn between singing it acoustically and with the full band electric version. He needs to soften it up with these acoustic versions.

I agree with spaneli (yet again). He sounds great during the verses, though.
I absolutely love this song, though. It's a masterpiece, and I can't wait to see Noel do proper justice to it live.

BTW, I just submitted the chords to ultimate-guitar.com based on this performance. It's a little different than the other versions. It should be online within 24 hours.
