I get the sense too that it might not leak.
I hope it doesn't. Technically it will leak for me anyways because of course UK gets it before the US. But it would be great to hold out all the way till the Ireland release date.
It would be nice change up for once.

It'll release on 13th October in Holland, 5 days before Beady Eye's Amsterdam gig.
Like I always have done with any other Oasis albums and one BE album, I'll buy Noel's HFB brand new first album on 13th October in my local record shop.
Don't want to download the leak.

All albums leak. It's a fact. For example, my local record shop usually starts selling new Tuesday's albums on the Saturday before. So that is three days before it is street legal. Granted it doesn't work in Noel's new album because it comes out in the UK 3 weeks before.

The only way it won't leak is if nobody in the world but him has a copy until the release date. But I don't have a problem with leaks, as long as if you download it, you either buy it if you like it or delete it straight away if you don't.

Every album cycle on this forum two questions related to this are always asked and they're always fucking dumb. "When will it leak?" and "Will it leak?". I remember around DOYS some idiot asked "will there be enough links" to download from. Theres always some dweeb who is absolutely sure of something not leaking and it always does. Everything, unless it has a digital-only release, leaks. Whether its weeks or a few days, nothing makes release day anymore if its got any sort of notoriety to it, and this release has a lot of notoriety to it. There is 0% chance of Noel's record not being on the net before release day. Absolutely 100% zero. Once it hits manufacturing, its game over. Just stop thinking about it. Those of you "against" a leak your only hope is that it leaks very close to release, which isnt a stretch and it could very well go like that, but there still will be dozens of people listening and reflecting before your waiting for release day ass. Those of you waiting for a leak, we're just about inside a month and its pretty much any "any time now" situation. |
