during the bomb scare, or whatever it was, in the music shop where noel played the famous 'slow', a song which memerized those who heard it (incl. if i remember correctly, creation-mini-mogul alan mcgee who raved on about the song) at the small concert hall where gem and noel ran through an acoustic version of 'stop the clocks'-although, realistically (and this post is nothing if it is not real...real something) if you were going to be a oasis lovin fly you would probably get your greatest satisfaction sticking to the studio wall's where the band has been recording, recording, recording their newest album. on the train ride where noel wrote both acquiese and wonderwall (or was that cast no shadow?) in the living room where noel introduced his new band mates to an early version of 'stop crying your heart out', a little ditty he had whipped up the night before. in the studio as noel and george worked out the former beatles parts for their psychadellic collaboration 'who feels love?'

give me the drugs that dude is on! Dave ha, ha, ha a little bit of pot, a healthy dollop (and i'm willing to guess that's a first time for that word on this forum ) of love and way to much diet coke. but seriously, other then the last bit about george harrison, which was just a rib on the crazy 'who is love' rumour a couple of threads down, the other stuff all happened (or at least has been reported to have occoured)... i guess the 'fly on the wall' thing might be a bit too much charlotte web-alice in wonderland for you guys...so i'll pose the question in a different way... the history of oasis is full of rumour and speculation... why was andy let go? why did bonehead leave? what will stop the clocks sound like? had noel been listening to the stereophonics before coming up with the hindu times riff? ah fuck it...i'm struggling to give this thread any life...if i ask you guys to come up with 'the one rumour or speculation' you'd like to know the truth too...then you'll eat me alive... i'm taking this little bug of a thread off life support... may it begin its descent into the back pages in peace.

I want to know if it's true that Alan White was sacked because he was leaking news to the press and, more importantly, was responsible for leaking Heathen Chemistry and it ending up on the net.
If it was just the fact that he suffers from tendonitis than that's pretty ruthless on Noel's part, but I think there is quite a bit more to it.
As usual with Oasis though (cf Guigs and Bonehead leaving) they don't tend to spill the beans on what goes on behind the scenes. I guess that's what helps keep it interesting.

In the early days when Noel was working for the gass board as a supplies guy all by himself, just him an his guitar, writing songs. Thats where you want to be a fly on the wall. The lyrics are so cool I'd love to see what influenced him.
