I may get shot down in flames here but PHUCKET!
What are your thoughts on the death of Kurt Cobain?
Suspicious? Suicide? Murder?
Looks like a clear cut case of having enough of life, getting high and then blowing your brains out BUT if you actually look at the evidence against suicide its quite interesting…
I don’t know what I believe tbh. Maybe it was just a suicide but a suicide with a twist…
The heroin in his blood when they found him was 3x the lethal dosage and so would be impossible to lift a shotgun let alone fire it…
A guy who claimed to have been offered $50,000 to kill Kurt Cobain was killed shortly after he made this revelation to a documentary team...
When Kurt was missing the whole house was searched but couldn’t have been as his body was in the room above the garage..
These are just points I remember from reading books/watching docos but there was definitely a lot more evidence to suggest more than coincidence and definitely too much evidence to warrant closing the case so soon and refusing to reopen it.
Anyway, thoughts?
Humour me.

As far as I'm concerned he was a suicidal idiot who took too many drugs and shot himself in the head. The murder stories to me are as valid as the ones saying Elvis and Tupac are still alive and faked their own deaths.

He would have had time to inject the drugs THEN shoot himself. A lethal dose to you or I maybe but he was hardcore anyway it would have took maybe 20 seconds to fully take effect, long enough to pull a trigger.
Plus he was a manic depressive with suicidal tendencies FFS! I usually go for a bit conspiracy but not with this one. Sad but true.

Kurt Cobain was miserable. He lived with constant pain in his stomach, had a fucked up childhood, among other things. Noel Gallagher would have made epic records out of that like he did with his own life, but Cobain decided to bitch and moan about it. He killed himself. Great artist, terrible person. Kid Cudi will go down this route soon.

He was depressed, he was a heroin addict and he killed himself. No conspiracy.

cobain was depressed, had serious stomach pain, and whatever else going on in his life... I can't judge it. I didnt know the man. I do believe it was a suicide. However I do believe the company he surrounded himself with (Courtney Love) obviously did not help. He grew to "hate" his band members, the only somewhat sane people he associated with. The mans dead though, lets not make a mockery of him. As conspiracy's and GREAT artists go look into Elliott Smith's suicide/career. He stabbed himself in the heart with a steak knife while his gf was in the bathroom, leaving only a post it note saying God, im so sorry. He had been complaining of being followed by someone for weeks and was finally clean off drugs. Coroners believed it to be a homicide at first, however Smith was extremely troubled. But get into his music! great talent

If you've read Heavier Than Heaven (which you should even if you're not a Nirvana fan) it's pretty clear that it was suicide. The author was a close acquaintance of Cobain's and wrote for an Aberdeen and Seattle music paper for years covering Nirvana's rise. He was a messed up guy and it was no major shock that this happened.
Thankfully for us, just after this tragedy Live Forever was released shortly after and caught wind here in America (as they speak about in Live Forever: The Film).

Does it matter how? or why? He's gone. However, the legend is still there.

I'm not that big of a Nirvana fan but Cobain is a legend and his suicide is such a tragedy.

I've spoken to Charles Cross who wrote Heavier than Heaven, really friendly guy. I loved his Hendrix biog too.
