i really like jet, but to me there's only one problem. except for 'look what you've done', every song sounds the same. take 'rollover dj' and 'are you gonna be my girl'. it's like listening to the same song. but it's still good.

I don't know why people are so disappointed. Who else did they want?
We couldn't expect anyone like Weller or Ashcroft to come over here just to open for them and as far as I can tell the only other good US act that would've done it is Ambulance LTD.

Already been done. Plus, apart from those few concerts in New York, The Black Crowes aren't together anymore (from the last I heard) and I doubt they'd do a reunion tour just to open for another band.
Who else?

The Black Crowes are back together and they're doing a bunch of show in NYC at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

I'd like to see Oasis bring the Charlatans on the road with them. The Charlatans did support them at Finsbury Park and at Knebworth.

yea, i heard the black crowes are back together. So they're a full time band again? Cool. I would've preferred the Charlatans as the US support. But realistically I don't think Jet is that bad.

I don't mind Jet. I have their album and it has some solid tunes on it. Last time they were here (Toronto), they played a sold out show. So they do have a following and there are people who like them.
