I do have kids. I just don't see them. Their moms hate me. So I don't mind seeing them. One is a half-Philipino kid, so she can take care of herself. This post sums you up. They're not gonna give Lady crappa' a terrible review, it's the hot/in thing at the moment. aside from that, i trust their reviews more than ... actually they're the only publication i care for when it comes to reviews.
Why are you getting so worked up about it anyways? if you want you can go and read "the examiner" review or whatever other blog you feel like.
I am expecting a a good review from them just for the record...
They've always been fair with their reviews of Oasis albums.
I'm expecting anything from a 3.5 to a 4... they MIGHT just give the album a 4.5 but who knows really.
I rate the album a 3.5, but i really dislike quite a few of the songs on there. Someone else might not feel as strongly about AKA What a Crap as i do.

2 stars!  lol that's a bit harsh... the album has kinda grown on me a little bit. I still think there's a few stinkers but hey, same thing happened with the BDI album. It was never gonna be perfect. I think a 3.5/5 stars is a more accurate rating, even if you didn't like it all that much as a whole. You can't deny the brilliance of certain songs(EOTR, IIHAG, Dream On). Now, if those songs weren't as good as they are, the album would be practically a complete and utter disaster but the fact of the matter is, those songs ARE THAT DAMN GOOD. In the end, it's all for nothing really, because as we all know by now, that "paper" is nothing but total crap. Give me the damn AllMusicGuide review, the rest don't even matter. You mean the Allmusic that gave Lady Gaga 4 1/2 stars and never gave BRMC over a 4? Hmmm... Lady Gaga rocks! |
